I’m thrilled to be part of such a fantastic team here in South Lake Union! I’ve had the chance to live and practice in some really desirable cities like Phoenix, Chicago, and San Diego over the past 13 years as a general dentist. But when I moved to Seattle in 2017, I knew I’d found my forever home.
I’ve been living in the South Lake Union area for over seven years now, and I can’t wait to work within the community I call home. I’m excited to meet all of you and get to know you as my patients. Providing the highest standard of care for my patients is my passion. My professional interests include digital dentistry and evidence-based practice.
In my free time, I like to bike, hike, and paddleboard. I love spontaneous road trips. I’m always up for a good day trip recommendation!
Dr. Payne grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and graduated from Birmingham-Southern College in 2003 with a BA in Spanish and Biology. He graduated in top 8% of class in 2012 from the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health and Received an award for the highest board score in his class on Part 1 of NBDE.
DR. CHRISTOPHER TOBLER, DDS
Welcoming All Seattle Patients Like Family!
Dr. Christopher Tobler grew up primarily in Southern California and spent much of his time at the beach. He loved painting and drawing and worked as a graphic designer during high school and college at BYU in Utah. Eventually, he changed course to pursue dentistry at Indiana University, where he earned his DDS degree.
After years as a graphic designer, Dr. Tobler found that dentistry suited him better. He enjoys the daily interactions with both his patients and his incredible team. Dr. Tobler is married to his best friend, and together they have two boys.
He still enjoys beach outings but equally loves spending time in the mountains on trails. Music is another passion; he plays both guitar and piano.
What do you do outside of the office?
Most of my time is spent playing with my two boys—building Legos, creating forts, or exploring parks and trails around the Pacific Northwest. I love playing music and try to attend live concerts.
Who is your hero?
Fred Rogers inspires me due to his humble dedication to making the world a better place by helping others feel confident and valued.
What was the best day of your life?
The two best days of my life were when my sons were born. Being a father is the single most exciting, exhausting, humbling, and fulfilling experience I’ve ever had.
What flavor ice cream would you be?
I like mint chocolate chip—not particularly exciting but sometimes it just hits the spot.
Dr. Dina Al-Bassyiouni, DDS

Dr. Dina is committed to improving the quality of life of her patients by providing the highest level of dental care, restoring beautiful smiles, and creating lasting relationships with her patients. Her goal is to treat patients as she would treat her family.
Dr. Dina believes in preventative and evidence-based treatment. She emphasizes patient education in order for her patients to be active decision makers in the treatment planning process. Dr. Dina has also received special training and certification in Surgery, Implants, Cosmetic Botox, Fillers, and Treatment Botox for clenching, grinding, jaw pain, and headaches.
She is excited to be providing these services now in the office.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Dina enjoys giving back to her community. You will find her either trying new restaurants, making lattes, baking for friends and family, or planning her next international trip.
